Year-End Wrap-Up Tasks
Believe it or not, there are just 4 weeks left in this year. It’s always beneficial to start off the New Year fresh. So, it’s important to wrap up all those loose ends entering into the new year. And with the holidays approaching, and all the stress it can bring, don’t put off all these tasks. Try and do them throughout the month, so you can free less stressed during the holidays.
Here are some wrap-up suggestions to finish by Dec. 31st:
- Start by making a list. You can’t check things off your list if you haven’t made one. Include projects you are working on, those that need to be completed, and those that carry over into the New Year. A list will give you a clear idea of where you are and where you’re headed.
- Check those documents. Make sure you have submitted all invoices and expense reports. Organize, file, and purge any old documents to close out the year. Get that pile of papers off your desk so you can start the New Year ready to move forward.
- Reflect on accomplishments. Take some time to give yourself credit for any accomplishments this year. Many changes could have had a positive impact on your employees and your business. Be proud of yourself and remember to set new goals in the New Year.
When you choose your new path (goals) for your business for 2018, make sure they are realistic and attainable. Choose goals that will help you grow, improve your skills, enhance your career, benefit your business, engage your employees, and make everyone happy!
