Steps to Measure Success in Your Business

Does YOUR success mean you enjoy what you do?  Does YOUR success mean having more money?  What does success mean to YOU?

Here are some helpful steps to achieve success:

  1. Measure your results
  2. Recognize success with goals
  3. Know your intended results
  4. Stay motivated and focused
  5. Create value

Setting goals allows us to measure results.  We can recognize our success by the goals we achieve.  And knowing ahead of time what our intended results are gives us the chance to program ourselves to feel what success will be like when we meet our goals.  Having goals to meet gives us a way to stay motivated and focused.  And If you know where you’re headed, you’ll get excited with anticipation and stay focused.

You should measure success by your accomplishments.  Creating value for yourself and others is the ultimate measure of success.  Your business won’t thrive unless you set goals, follow-through with them, achieve them, and measure them.  If you continue to repeat these steps weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly, you will enhance your business and see increased value in yourself as a person.
