With the conclusion of 2014, let’s all reflect on those that have played a role in our successes during the past year.
Family. They can often be the unsung heroes as we dole out appreciation. They provide the spoken and unspoken support and belief in who we are and what we are able to achieve.
Friends. Throughout our lives we accumulate people of significance that we connect with and find ourselves sharing our lives with. Sometimes these friends are constants in our daily lives and other times they appear and reappear at just the right times. We appreciate the gift of friendship with no expectations or strings attached.
Clients. We would not be in business without our clients or customers. Each and everyone of them has given of their trust that we will provide them with products or services that will fulfill their needs. Many times our clients can also provide us with the opportunity to learn or to grow in our business so that we may serve them to the best of our ability. We appreciate the trust they have placed in us and the opportunity to build on that relationship.
Team Members. Whether you have a team of folks in your office, or a virtual team of ‘go to’ resources, they are on our side and are often the ones that make it all happen. We appreciate their willingness to get things done, to produce, to make our lives easier and our businesses operate.
And last but not least – each of you. We have made an effort to get to know each other, both personally and professionally. We have listened, offered advice, provided connections, made referrals and done business.
In the words of Ralph Marston:
Make it a habit to tell people thank you. To express your appreciation, sincerely and without expectation of anything in return. Truly appreciate those around you, and you’ll soon find many others around you. Truly appreciate life, and you’ll find that you have more of it.
